Allocate, the private markets operating system for wealth advisory firms and fund managers, today announced the appointment of Naim Falandino as Chief Technology Officer and Arnold Engel as Chief Financial Officer and head of embedded financial products.

Falandino will lead Allocate’s 40-person Engineering team, including the newly formed Data Engineering team which is led by Andrew Rodman, a 10-year veteran of Clearwater Analytics who joined Allocate in June 2026. Nearly half of Allocate’s team members now sit within its Product and Engineering organizations, as the company continues to build AI-native tooling to enable wealth advisors to frictionlessly build alternatives exposure for clients.

In addition to leading Allocate’s finance organization, Engel will accelerate Allocate’s development of new embedded financial tools, including lending and banking solutions, to give advisors and their clients an avenue to generate liquidity against illiquid asset classes.

As private markets expand across the wealth channel, advisors face more fund offerings and more complex data. Allocate turns that data into intelligence for more informed decisions and client conversations.

“Private markets are a core part of how sophisticated advisors and institutions build portfolios, but the technology and financial infrastructure supporting them haven’t kept pace, and AI will be a key tool for creating better client outcomes,” said Samir Kaji, CEO and Co-Founder of Allocate. “For our clients, closing that gap means better tools to personalize investment offerings and understand portfolio fit, along with new financial solutions built on the platform they already use. We are pleased to have Naim and Arnold leading these efforts.”

Falandino brings more than 20 years of experience spanning data science, machine learning, engineering, and product development. He most recently served as Head of Product at Insurance Quantified following its acquisition of Groundspeed, where he was Chief Technology Officer, and previously held senior data science and engineering roles at Deepfield and Nokia.

“I’ve spent my career turning complex data into products people can act on, from insurance underwriting to network analytics,” said Falandino. “Private markets face the same challenge, and Allocate has built the foundation to address it. Now the work is extending that foundation so clients get the same intelligence whether they’re on our platform or working in the systems their teams already use.”

Engel brings finance and operating experience as a two-time founder and former CEO. He co-founded and led Tundra, a venture-backed wholesale marketplace for independent retailers. He previously led Vox Supply Chain and began his career at McKinsey.

“Advisors are used to the convenience of public markets, and private markets still offer far fewer liquidity and financing options,” said Engel. “Allocate already supports clients across the full investment lifecycle, so we’re well placed to bring both directly into the platform they use every day.”

The appointments follow the additions of Matt Dunn as Chief Revenue Officer in July and Zoheib Chatoor as Head of Investor Servicing & Operations in September. A veteran of PIMCO, Morgan Stanley, and Opto Investments, Dunn leads the company’s growth strategy and go-to-market approach, including deepening relationships across the wealth and asset management channels. Chatoor brings more than a decade of private wealth and client service experience across Opto Investments and Goldman Sachs. At Allocate, he is building the operating model to elevate the company’s client experience as it scales.
