JPMorganChase will deliver memorable on-site experiences for athletes, fans, and the Greater Boston community during the Regatta.
CAMBRIDGE , MA, UNITED STATES, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — JPMorganChase is proud to be named the Official Financial Services Partner of the Head Of The Charles® Regatta, the world’s largest rowing
regatta and one of New England’s most iconic sporting traditions. Each October, the three-day event brings nearly 12,000 athletes and more than 370,000 spectators to the banks of the Charles River, drawing competitors and visitors from across the United States and around the world.
Together, JPMorganChase and the Head Of The Charles share a commitment to strengthening communities, supporting athletes, and expanding opportunity.
“We move farther and faster when we’re rowing in the same direction toward shared progress,” said Dan Curtin, Head of the J.P. Morgan Private Bank in New England and Vice-Chair of the New England Market Leadership Team at JPMorganChase. “We’re proud to support this defining tradition on the Charles River—one that brings athletes, families, volunteers, and neighbors together. We look forward to helping create a welcoming, community-first experience for everyone who comes out to be part of it.”
“We are thrilled to expand our relationship with JPMorganChase through a comprehensive partnership,” said Tori Stevens, Executive Director of the Head Of The Charles Regatta. “This partnership is designed to touch every aspect of the Regatta, supporting our athletes, volunteers and spectators. That level of integration reflects how well aligned our organizations are, and we are excited to make a positive impact together across the rowing and Greater Boston communities.”
What fans can expect
Chase will deliver an engaging on-site experience at the Head Of The Charles Regatta that connects community pride and family-friendly entertainment. The Chase Market Square will feature interactive games, family-friendly activities, and local community touches designed to create a fun, welcoming stop for regatta attendees and underscore Chase’s commitment to supporting the communities it serves.
In addition, J.P. Morgan is co-sponsoring The Directors’ Lounge, a premium hospitality experience at the Head Of The Charles Regatta. Guests can expect gourmet food and drinks, exclusive programming, and special gifts in a comfortable setting overlooking the races. Tickets are available online to enjoy front row access to the event with exceptional service and amenities.
JPMorganChase will also be the official sponsor of the volunteer meals program which helps provide more than 3,000 meals to the people whose time and energy power this iconic tradition. Dozens of local JPMorganChase employees will also volunteer throughout the weekend. In addition, fans will be able to view a live podcast recording highlighting the unique experiences rowers face.
To further underscore its alignment with the competition, JPMorganChase will field a boat of employee rowers—most Olympians—and will sponsor both the Awards Pavilion and the Championship Singles Prize.
Finally, with the firm’s extensive banking and wealth planning and management expertise, JPMorganChase will provide free financial education workshops for the athletes. This work builds on the mission of the recently announced JPMorganChase Athlete Council – a group of some of the world’s most accomplished sports figures who meet with JPMorganChase leaders to discuss the unique financial needs of athletes and help guide the development
of programs to address them.
“The Head Of The Charles Regatta is a defining Boston tradition—one that brings together athletes, families, volunteers, and spectators from around the world along the Charles River and showcases the very best of our region,” said Rick MacDonald, New England Region Manager for Commercial Banking and Chair of the New England Market Leadership Team at JPMorganChase. “As we deepen our commitment to Greater Boston, we’re proud to support an event that unites people around shared purpose—and that reflects our mission to drive local opportunity.”
Growing in Greater Boston
This partnership reflects JPMorganChase’s continued commitment to growth in Greater Boston. Earlier this year, the company announced plans to relocate into the newly constructed, state-of-the-art South Station Tower beginning in early 2028, marking a significant investment in downtown Boston and the city’s economic future. The move underscores JPMorganChase’s long-term commitment to Boston, bringing together employees from every line of business under one roof and fostering greater collaboration and innovation. The new headquarters will serve as a hub for the firm’s continued growth in the region, supporting clients in key sectors such as life sciences, healthcare, technology, robotics, and AI.
With more than 1,600 employees working in the city through its corporate offices and Chase branches, there are also plans to add hundreds of new local jobs in the next several years.
