BRIDGEVILLE , PA, UNITED STATES, September 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — ROLEC USA has expanded its polyDOOR range of hinged-lid GRP enclosures for industrial electronics, making the enclosures available in eight standard sizes. The enclosures are offered with either a solid lid or a transparent window for applications requiring visibility of displays and indicators.

Designed for industrial and outdoor environments, polyDOOR enclosures provide IP66-rated protection against dust and water ingress. The enclosures are suited to applications that require regular inspection, maintenance, or servicing, including processing equipment, machine control systems, safety monitoring installations, and marine electronics. Their glass-reinforced polyester (GRP) construction, rated UL 94 V-0, also makes them suitable for environments where exposure to chemicals may be a concern.

A key feature of the polyDOOR range is its integrated hinge design, which enables the lid to be removed quickly when access to internal components is required. The lid is secured using polyamide fixings, with multiple fastening options available, including standard slotted screw heads, triangular or square security heads, and hand screws for rapid access.

Inside the enclosure, threaded mounting pillars simplify the installation of printed circuit boards, terminal rails, and component assemblies.

The expanded polyDOOR range is now available in eight sizes, from 5.51 in. x 4.72 in. x 3.94 in. to 12.60 in. x 7.87 in. x 4.72 in. Standard enclosures are supplied in a pebble gray finish similar to RAL 7032.

Available accessories and options include alternative lid fixings, external mounting brackets, silicone gaskets, mounting plates, cable glands, cross rails, and DIN rails for terminal block assemblies.

ROLEC USA also offers polyDOOR enclosures with customer-specific modifications. Available services include CNC machining, digital printing of legends, logos, and graphics, as well as the assembly and installation of accessories prior to delivery.
