Achievers, the world’s most utilized recognition and reward software that engages nearly 5 million employees every day across 190+ countries, today announced Achievers Intelligence, an AI layer across its recognition and rewards platform designed to turn everyday recognition into a new source of workforce intelligence. Built on more than one billion recognition moments and over 20 years of behavioral data, Achievers Intelligence helps organizations surface the skills, behaviors and workforce patterns hiding in recognition data, understand what they mean, and put those insights to work across the enterprise.

The launch comes at a pivotal time in the global workforce, as organizations increasingly invest in AI strategies and employees lack the clarity and direction to keep up. According to the Achievers Workforce Institute (AWI) State of Recognition report, just 19% of employees confidently use AI tools at work, and only 17% believe their organization clearly communicates AI’s role. These findings reveal a glaring gap between the workforce behaviors organizations need to drive forward critical initiatives and their ability to reinforce them at scale.

“Every leader is being challenged to redefine how work gets done across virtually every role in the organization,” said Scott Landers, CEO of Achievers. “Unfortunately, many are realizing buying a new AI license is easy, but changing behavior with disengaged employees is hard. Recognition, once perceived as a nice-to-have, is emerging as a critical management lever to drive change. Businesses that thrive will be the ones that embrace recognition as a lever for change and use intelligence to move their business forward at scale. Human centered leaders will not only drive outcomes like stronger AI ROI and customer experience but also see employee engagement and retention rates flourish.”

Achievers Intelligence expands recognition from a collection of moments of appreciation to a system of influence, using AI to help organizations understand the behaviors, skills and relationships shaping their workforce and reinforce what matters most. The platform comes to life through three connected pillars:

  • Guided Experiences embeds AI throughout the Achievers platform, creating a smarter, faster, and more impactful experience. It helps employees refine the recognitions they write, recommends rewards that resonate, and answers program questions in real time, so the moments of recognition, redemption, and support take seconds instead of minutes.

  • Workforce Insights turns recognition activity into a clear picture of how people and teams contribute, at three primary levels. Employees see the skills and strengths that surface in the recognition their peers give them, right in their profile. Managers see the same picture at the team level, including whose contributions are getting noticed, where recognition is falling off, and what to do about it. Program leaders see it across the organization, with dashboards that track engagement and program health that they can filter and export to whatever view they need.

  • Connected Ecosystem extends the visibility of workforce insights into the tools people already work in. Employees and leaders can send recognition, interact with platform data, and connect Achievers-powered intelligence to systems such as Microsoft Copilot and Workday, bringing behavioral context directly into the flow of work. In practice, this means a project manager could ask an AI assistant to recognize a team after a project closes, using project context to acknowledge each employee’s specific contribution, providing a more meaningful recognition than the generic “good job team,” and streamlining the process for the manager.

“We’re excited to reveal Achievers Intelligence, a key milestone in our commitment to helping organizations understand their workforce better and make that intelligence actionable across the systems where work happens,” said Anu Subramanian, Chief Technology Officer of Achievers. “Unlike workforce data that depends on periodic surveys or annual reviews prone to recency bias, recognition captures what colleagues notice about one another in the course of everyday work, giving employees and managers context into strengths that may otherwise remain invisible. Achievers Intelligence turns those signals into a real-time picture of a company’s workforce, then carries that intelligence into the moments and systems where people make decisions, develop talent, and shape how work gets done.”

The intelligence is designed with enterprise data protection at its core. Employee and company data is not stored or used to train or evaluate Achievers AI; confidential and personal information is excluded from model training and fine-tuning, and customer data is isolated within a protected environment.

Achievers customers are already demonstrating the value of connecting recognition with strategic workforce priorities. Bell, Canada’s largest communications company, embedded AI adoption directly into its recognition program, celebrating employees from early experimentation through advanced AI use. The initiative resulted in a 62% increase in teams recognizing AI adoption, more than 2,140 recognitions and more than 1,680 employees recognized for AI-adoption behaviors.

“Achievers has been a critical partner behind our ‘Better Together’ recognition program for many years, but we’ve seen the role of recognition resonate even more widely as Bell has evolved in the AI era,” said Jennifer Millar, Senior Project Manager, Pay Equity & Total Rewards at Bell. “By embedding AI adoption directly into our recognition program, we’ve been able to celebrate employees at every stage of the journey, from early exploration to more advanced use, while encouraging the learning, experimentation, and new ways of working that help adoption take hold. With each recognition, we’ve seen momentum build across the organization, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to see the impact of this work resonate so broadly.”
